This tour involves excellent game viewing, bird watching, nature guided walks, chimpanzee trekking at Kaniyo Pabidi forest and roaring Murchison falls. The park is bisected by the mighty Nile River, in the northern circuit of the Nile you can expect to see a variety of the teeming game such as Giraffes, Jackals, Lions, Hyenas, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Hartebeests, Oribis, and Uganda Kobs among others.

Day 1

Arrival at Entebbe airport, picked up by our staff, driven to hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Kampala – Murchison falls national park

Depart for Murchison after breakfast. You will drive through the famous Luwero triangle stopping over at Masindi Hotel for lunch and continue to the Park.

On arrival, if time allows, you will visit the “top of the falls”, where you will enjoy the spectacular view.

Day 3: Game drive and Launch cruise

After an early morning cup of coffee, embark on a game drive in the Northern circuit of the Nile. This will take you to the true meaning of wildlife appearing in hundreds including antelopes, Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Bushbucks, Lions and a variety of bird species.

After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for a late breakfast, after which you can enjoy the lodge’s facilities like swimming etc until time for lunch.

In the cool sunny afternoon, will go for a launch trip on the River Nile where you will have the opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles and water birds such as African fish eagle, African jacana, pied kingfisher, Egyptian geese, and pelicans along the river banks. The launch trip takes you to the bottom of the thunderous Murchison falls and beautiful sunset on the Nile. You will then return to the lodge.

Day 4: Guided nature walk and departure for Kampala.

After breakfast, drive to the top of the falls for a guided walk, descend on a trail down to the bottom of the falls and again hike up the gentle sloping shrubby escarpment. This will be a lifetime experience in the wilderness; expect to see beautiful water birds, antelopes and other forest dwellers on the southern bank.

Drive back and checkout and set off for Kampala through the cool-dark canopies of Kaniyo Pabidi forest a home of various bird species and stunning troops of primates including the fancy Olive baboons, elusive chimpanzees, black and white colubus monkeys among others. Branch off to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a brief White Rhino trek at a close contact, proceed to Kampala and arrive early afternoon.
